NASRO is working hard for you and can help lower your health insurance costs ! We are a community non-profit business organization, founded by health care consultant and activist Robert Gaw,
that is your advocate and a humanitarian organization for the common good. NASRO is also a trusted independent organization that provides accurate information on the strengths and weaknesses of the health insurance carriers and their plans. NASRO is a sixteen year old organization that supports Washington State citizen efforts to
make affordable health insurance available to all state residents.
NASRO is staffed by very experienced and qualified professionals who are available to assist any state resident or company with direct straight
answers to questions about benefits choices, cost and which
health plan provider network is best for you or your employees. There are no complicated telephone matrixes, waits or impersonal service from out of state telemarketing centers when you call NASRO . Every person and every company is important and our answers to your questions are accurate and consistent.
Please consider
the large number of plan choices from all of Washington's
health insurance carriers that NASRO Health Plan Options has available. NASRO continues to offer the services of its own group plan that is open to any self employed person working at least 20 hours per week, without a requirement that a person's health history be reviewed first. The group plan, which has been operational for eleven years, also welcomes the participation of businesses or non-profits in Washington State. Individuals that are not self employed are also provided the services of some of Washington's leading individual health plans at an affordable cost. For more information please call 800-216-2505, 425-889-4588 or email NASRO and request a proposal. You will find that our service is the best in Washington.
A Case Study

What people are saying about NASRO!
I have nothing but praise for the good folks at NASRO ( National Association of Socially Responsible Organizations ).
If you have ever dealt with insurance providers, you know that the usual goal of the person who answers the phone is to say " no " and hang up as quickly as possible. My experience with Barbara Gibson at NASRO could not have been more different.
She actually did the math on whether it would be better for me to stick with COBRA for 18 months before switching to the NASRO plan. The one time I actually had a problem with coverage for a medical condition, she not only straightened it out, but also remembered to ask me if I was feeling better after the procedure.
Deborah Elizabeth Finn
P.S. Full disclosure. NASRO does not compensate me in any way for praising it immoderately. I am just a fan.

NASRO's
Alliant Plus Plan from Group Health Options is our group plan for self employed people, independent contractors and small businesses.
Our group health insurance is administered by NASRO and we offer the best service of any group in the state. We act as your human resources department so you are not dealing blindly with a large health plan on your own.
NASRO believes no one in Washington should be denied coverage due to a pre-existing medical condition, and with NASRO's Plan No Member Can Be Denied Coverage.
This is a great plan for baby boomers who have left the rat race, are working for themselves and want a good plan that will offer real protection to help maintain a medical condition under good control or provide piece of mind in case major illness or accident occurs.
Eligibility for part timers working as little as 20 hours of work per week to participate in a high quality group plan
Friendly Group Service with flexible and accurate billing and member service is provided by NASRO's professional staff
One of the best benefit plans in the state helps self employed people and small businesses from one to five employees operate at the same level as big corporations. If your group is made up of 6 or more employees please fill out a proposal request form to your left across the page on the link highlighted in blue.

The
ultimate choice of providers anywhere is available with NASRO's
group plan under Options Alliant Plus Health Plan. If your
doctors are not on the list of participating providers you
can still be covered with excellent benefits and continue
seeing your doctors. Options Alliant Plus Plan also lets the
member see a doctor within the Group Health Cooperative network,
the Virginia Mason Network and the Everett Clinic Network
at substantial savings. This does not mean that once you see
one of the Network doctors you must stay with that doctor.
Members are free to change to any physician anytime they want
to. Only Options Alliant Plus Plan lets members go back and
forth between Network and non-Network physicians.
