Insurance Partnership Program
for Small Businesses and Self Employed People Having Trouble
Paying for Health Insurance
Our state government continues to have in place a very
effective program that provides financial assistance to
small business owners and employees and self employed people
who need health insurance. Many NASRO Co-op members have
already enrolled through this program.
To qualify a person needs to make $18,000 or under and
need single health insurance and up to $36,000 a year and
need family health insurance. When qualified, most of a
self employed person's and small business employees health
insurance costs will be paid for by check from the Insurance
Partnership Program.
Even if your business or organization does not now offer
health
insurance you can start to and reap the benefits that can
mean so much to people in this difficult economy. NASRO
is glad to help explain to people how this program that
we fought for being created in the first place works.
