Who We Are
NASRO Administrators is a third party administrator
of employee health, dental, vision, life, and disability
plans for employer groups from two employees to 20,000 employees.
NASRO's five year old health care cooperative continues
to offer individuals and small businesses better health
insurance plan choices than the for-profit Massachusetts
business associations or insurance companies.
NASRO's dues are lower and we fight for your interests,
not against them. NASRO continues to offer through our underwriters,
quality high option benefit levels, not high deductible
health plans that will rarely pay for any services. NASRO
is continuing to grow, adding many more members that make
us all stronger as we do the work that government should
be doing.
People in Massachusetts are losing their jobs in growing
numbers, many have had retirement plans depleted by the
bear stock market and the economy is continuing to be down.
How we spend our health care dollars is becoming very important
in managing our budgets. Consider changing your health plan
to our group plans.
The President of NASRO, Robert Gaw, is also the executive
director of the National Health Policy Education and Research
Group. A native of Massachusetts, Mr. Gaw, now 51, returned
to the state last year after 30 years of experience working
in leadership positions for universal health care and social
justice in Washington DC. He is currently actively assisting
Massachusetts universal health care advocacy groups Masscare
and the Ad Hoc Committee to Defend Health Care, and in defense
of existing Massachusetts health care programs threatened
by ill advised budget cuts with the group Many Voices One
Message and Health Care For All.
NASRO's partner in offering member insurance services in
a
number of states is HTH Worldwide,
the leading company in the student health insurance business.
